Once you install it, come back to this page and re-click on your provider’s waiting room link. This should start the meeting properly.
When you click on your provider’s link, you will be taken to their virtual waiting room. If prompted, please type in your name. This will allow your provider to know who you are, as there may be more than one person waiting in their virtual waiting room. When you are admitted to start your visit, a window may pop up asking you to allow Zoom to access your microphone (if this is your first time using Zoom). Please allow this, otherwise you won’t be heard when you speak (example below is from an iPhone):
Otherwise the following window will pop up asking you to choose an audio option. Please click on “Join with Computer Audio” (example below is from an iPhone):
You will then see your provider on-screen. Please click on the camera symbol on the lower left of your screen to “Start Video”, if necessary. This will allow your provider to see you (example below is from an iPhone):
If this is your first time using the Zoom app, you will be asked to allow Zoom to access your camera- grant this permission, and your appointment can proceed.
