Coronavirus disease (COVID-19): Keeping Our Community Safe

With all the fear and uncertainty with the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to let you know that we are here for you and we have new services.

Starting March 23rd, we will be offering telemedicine visits.  These will be video visits through FaceTime and Skype.  For patients unfamiliar or without access to this technology, please let us know. We will help you obtain these services or reach you by phone.

Telemedicine visits will be available to help you manage your ongoing medical issues, address new or changing symptoms, help you through an illness or evaluate your COVID-19 concerns.

Routine telemedicine visits will be scheduled by our front desk, virtually checked in by our medical assistants and seen by your provider or a covering provider.  Insurance companies treat these just like regular office visits and we will do our best to make your telemedicine visit as thorough and complete as possible.  Urgent labs and immunizations can be accomplished by using our drive by lab after the telemedicine appointment.   Our goal is to help you manage your concerns, safe and protected at home.

If we mutually agree that you need to be seen our office, please be aware that we have new procedures to keep you safe and will review these with you prior to your appointment.  These protections include the addition of new clinic space we acquired to manage patients with respiratory symptoms or fever, completely separate from our usual office space.

In our regular office, we have new policies including no waiting in the office and special hours reserved for infants and elderly patients.

We continue to work with the VT and NH departments of public health, DHMC and Quest lab to secure testing for COVID-19.  Please be aware that, currently, we do not have these tests and testing is limited in our community.  However, we urge you to contact us if you have concerns so that we can give you the most up-to-date information.

Please reach out to us if you need help in this trying time. We know this is hard, exhausting and isolating.  Rest assured that we are here for you.
