White River Family Practice, an independent, partner-owned, award-winning, NCQA-certified family medicine group located in White River Junction, Vermont, is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team of five physicians, two nurse practitioners, and 15 support staff.

NP/PA Responsibilities:

*Greet patients and gather medical information

*Give physical exams to make correct diagnoses

*Work with Physicians and Nurses to prescribe and administer treatments

*Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment

*Instruct patients and their families about best practices

*Document and update patient records

*Refer patients to specialists as needed

 

Requirements:

* Master's degree from an accredited nursing or PA school.

* License to practice in Vermont

* Experience in Primary Care, Emergency Medicine, Triage, Long Term Care or Mental Health desired.

* Familiarity with patient databases.

* Strong understanding of ethics surrounding the storage of patient information.

* Exceptional communication, patient advocacy, and clinical assessment skills.
