Karl Stanford, FNP

Karl graduated from the University of Montana with undergraduate and graduate education in wildlife biology.  After several seasons of work in that field, he became a high school science teacher before receiving a BS in Nursing from the University of Southern Maine. He was a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit and cardiology nurse for twelve years at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Karl recently received his MS in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from St. Joseph’s College of Maine. Outside his work at WRFP, Karl enjoys working on his family’s home, fishing, hiking, photography, and torturing his guitar. He lives in the Upper Valley with his wife and two sons, who all keep him quite busy!
